I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with a master’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work (and a bachelor’s degree in international relations – which I believe is related to psychology and adds to my cultural competency and perspective). I am passionate about helping adults – of all ages – understand and accept themselves better. We will explore health, aging, relationships, career, and family. Do you have the life you always imagined? Did you not get what you had hoped for? Are you going through a life transition or quarter-life or mid-life “crisis”? Wondering what comes next?
I work with adults of all ages on a variety of issues including but not limited to anxiety, ADHD, depression, family conflict, coping, adjustment, and quarter- and mid-life crises. I address the connection between physical and mental health. As a life-long competitive athlete, I also work on issues within the sports psychology realm. I will work with you as a partner to define your goals, identify what may be holding you back from living the life you want, and explore realistic ways to make positive change. I offer a safe, honest, and judgment-free space to share and grow. I incorporate cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems, mindfulness, and somatic approaches to tap into and leverage your many strengths.
I bring over 25 years of clinical, research, policy, and real-life experience to my practice and look forward to working with you.
Whatever may have led you here, it is great you are taking this first step. I am welcoming new clients and am available for both virtual and in-person sessions. I also offer walk and talk!
